Principal's Message
Hello Raider Nation,
As the principal of West Laurens Middle School and Sixth Grade Academy, I am honored and humbled to continue to serve our students. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing the best possible education for every student in a safe and academically challenging environment. Our students are provided with opportunities to think critically and creatively by taking academic risks in a positive school culture. Our entire staff is consistently assessing student data to drive instruction and address student needs.
It is my desire to foster an open and warm environment for students, parents, and all stake-holders. Communication between school, family, and community is vital to the success of our students. We have great things happening at WLMS. We have enjoyed three consecutive years of CCRPI growth. We have a five-star climate rating. Our extra-curricular activities and sports teams are among the most successful in the Middle Georgia Area.
Our two assistant principals, Dr. Garrett Cannon and Mrs. Rosalyn Tobler, and I want to partner with parents and community to make West Laurens Middle School students successful. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any comments, questions, or concerns.
